The Chairwoman of the CSIC, named president of D+T Microelectronics
The Chairwoman of the Superior Council of Scientific Research (CSIC), Rosa Menéndez, has been named President of the Economic Interest Group D+T Microelectronics, during the ordinary assembly held last Friday in Barcelona.
The economic interest group (AIE) D+T Microelectrónica commercially operates the Clean Room of the Institute of Microelectronics of Barcelona (IMB-CNM), in Barcelona, and has the CSIC as a majority partner together with the companies Mondragón Corporación Cooperativa, Aguas de Barcelona and Biosystems. The assembly has also approved the entry into the group of the aerospace component sector company Alter Ventures, S.L.
D+T Microelectronics, among other components, has supplied particle detectors for the ATLAS CERN experiment, silicon carbide rectifier diodes for ESA satellites and pH sensors for the medical company Devicare.
