The institute participates, one more year, in the Festa de la Ciència organized by the Barcelona City Council. The event is the largest event for scientific dissemination for all audiences. It will take place on the Rambla del Raval in Barcelona and will last the entire weekend of May 28 and 29.

The Institute of Microelectronics of Barcelona opened its doors from Wednesday 18 May to Friday 20 May to welcome all those interested in learning about how a research center and an ICTS work from the inside. About 30 people signed up to join the nine guided tours that were scheduled.

The Institute of Microelectronics of Barcelona is celebrating it with an event on Tuesday, May 24 at the Institut d'Estudis Catalans in Barcelona. There will be a talk by its director, Luis Fonseca, on the causes of the crisis, and an informative lecture by Professor Ignacio Mártil.

NANBIOSIS is one of the five ICTS in the area of health sciences and biotechnology and IMB-CNM is in charge of the Micro-Nano Technology Unit, as it is a place with the capacity for producing high quality CVD-graphene.
