Congress Biosensors for pandemics 2021

"Biosensors for Pandemics 2021: Reliable and efficient nanotech-based diagnostics in emergency situations" is an "ICN2 Severo Ochoa Workshop on Health" - 2nd edition of an Online conference that will address main problems scientific community is facing nowadays for COVID-19 pandemics.

The idea is to get again together worldwide well known experts in biosensing technologies who are working currently in COVID-19 diagnostics or have a great potential for application of their technologies in the near future. This conference is also addressed to specialists in virology, epidemiology and other health areas and communication technologies that are crucial for guiding biosensing community and their diagnostics ideas using biosensors in the right way. A virtual round table providing answers to participants and sharing ideas between speakers is also previewed. We are looking for both Oral, FlashPoster and ePoster contributions that will be shared with an Open-access to all the participants.

With the participation of César Fernández (Chemical Transducers Group), explaning the ongoing results of POC4COV Project: "Point-of-care tests for the rapid detection of SARS-CoV-2".

Other CSIC groups involved in developing SARS-CoV-2 detectors in different projects will participate: Javier Tamayo (IMN-CSIC, Spain), Antonio Alcamí (CBMSO,CSIC-UAM, Spain), Manuel Fuentes (Centro de Investigación del Cancer. IBSAL.IBMCC:CSIC-USAL, Spain), Guillermo Rodrigo (Instituto de Biología Integrativa de Sistemas (I2SysBio), Spain), and Giulio Rosati (ICN2, Spain).
